The knob is 2-5/8" tall and 1.70" in diameter. The tote is 4-1/2" tall x 3-1/2 wide and 1" thick. There is no hole drilled in the front of tote where it contacts the plane sole. The set comes with .220" x 4-3/8" 20tpi fully threaded tote screw
