Thomas Flinn Pax 8" Gent Dovetail Saw 170562

This Pax 8" “Gentleman’s” Dovetail Saw is the perfect saw for detailed work. They are made by Thomas Flinn of Sheffield, England, the last traditional saw and plane maker in the UK. Back is rolled solid brass. The folded brass back means the blade is held under tension offering excellent rigidity and balance. High carbon alloy steel saw plate is 0.022" thick with just 0.003" set per side for a smooth and controlled cut. The handle is made from Walnut. Blade depth is 1-5/8" with 20 TPI as standard.
